Gippsland PHN, EMPHN, and SEMPHN needed to efficiently onboard to Primary Health Insights (PHI), a national project funded by the Australian Government and led by WA Primary Health Alliance.
The project had strict requirements and a firm May 2024 deadline. Internal PHN teams were already managing BAU responsibilities and needed support to meet project demands.
Notitia provided a shared service for the three PHNs, managing the project end-to-end. This included agile project management, internal team support, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Delivered agile project methodology with clear timelines and milestones
• Facilitated stakeholder engagement across PHNs and with PHI
• Managed communications and addressed challenges in real time
• Supported internal teams to reduce administrative workload
The PHI onboarding project was completed two months ahead of schedule. All requirements were implemented effectively, with reduced internal effort and a clear return on investment.
Notitia’s facilitation also improved stakeholder relationships between PHNs and with PHI, beyond the initial project scope.
• Reduced internal resourcing burden
• Lockboxes and data pipelines created for each PHN
• Training sessions scheduled to support BAU integration
• Strengthened PHN collaboration and stakeholder engagement
“One of the reasons that we chose Notitia was that they really aligned with our core values. A really important part of choosing a vendor, for us, was making sure that we had someone that we could work really well with and understand what we were trying to do."
Gippsland PHN, Eastern Melbourne PHN (EMPHN), and South Eastern Melbourne PHN (SEMPHN) are part of a national network of 31 PHNs. They joined forces to onboard onto Primary Health Insights (PHI), a government-funded platform supporting healthcare data integration.
By leveraging Notitia’s experience with PHNs and data project delivery, the three organisations were able to share resources and reduce the burden on internal teams—delivering the onboarding project ahead of deadline.
