Great Place to Work® Technology | Workplace Culture | Employee Benefits | Diversity and Inclusion in Tech
We’re proud to share that Notitia has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work® for the second year in a row. For us, this recognition is about what we’ve built — and continue to build.

Notitia is a national data and digital consultancy, with a small team working across Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, and Brisbane. We deliver strategy, analytics, development and design solutions that drive meaningful outcomes — and it’s the way we work that makes us different.
”We’re focused on being the best place to do meaningful, high-impact work. That means backing our people, removing unnecessary red tape, and creating a culture where smart ideas move quickly.”
— Alex Avery, Managing Director, Notitia

What makes Notitia a great place to work?
We’re a workplace designed for real people — not just roles. Here are just a few of the reasons our people say they love working here:
We work in hybrid and flexible arrangements: Our team can work from home, with in-office expectations of eight days per month.
- This has opened up opportunities for people who live outside major cities or need to work around parenting arrangements and other commitments.
- It respects the fact that people work better in different environments and we trust our people to manage their workload.
- When we work together in the office twice a week, we spend time collaborating face-to-face. This strengthens the way we problem solve and leverage our different skills on client projects.
We don’t hire for sameness — we hire for substance: Our team includes visa holders, career switchers, return-to-work parents, veterans and people from non-traditional pathways. We focus on ability, ambition and attitude, not just qualifications.
We’re small by design, big in impact. As a tight knit team, our analytics consultants, developers, designers and directors work closely together. There’s no layers of hierarchy to navigate — just smart, kind people solving complex problems for healthcare, government, Aboriginal services, FMCG and infrastructure clients (just to name a few)
Our directors are hands-on. Clients don’t just see our name on a slide — they speak directly with our leadership team. The same goes internally. Everyone at Notitia has access to guidance, mentorship and clear direction from those with deep experience in the field.
We invest in life, not just work. From annual offsites (like our snorkelling trip to the Great Barrier Reef) to weekly team building lunches, flexible working and generous parental leave — we put culture first, because we know that happy, supported people produce exceptional outcomes.
We take diversity seriously — and it shows. We’re proud to have 60%-50% gender representation across our executive and extended leadership teams.
We back growth. We give people the chance to step up, switch disciplines, or shape their roles in ways that work for them. Some of our best outcomes have come from saying yes to someone with the right mindset, not the ‘perfect’ CV.
“We’ve built Notitia around people, not just job titles. Whether someone is returning to the workforce, changing careers, or living regionally — they shouldn’t be excluded from meaningful work. That mindset has shaped our culture and our success.”
— Helen Dockrell, Director, Notitia

A culture we’re proud of
We don’t just talk about culture — we live it. From the way we support each other on projects, to the way we celebrate wins (and learn from setbacks), we’ve built a workplace grounded in trust, transparency and collaboration.
Want to work with us?
